THE 5th EASTERN EUROPEAN CONFERENCE OF MANAGEMENT AND ECONOMICS (EECME 2023)
Title: Future Challenges of Management

The conference will be held online on May 25, 2023, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. EECME 2023 is a peer-reviewed international conference focused on research advances and applications in future management challenges.

The International Standard Serial Number ISSN 2712-2522 is assigned to the EECME Conference website.

In a modern knowledge society and digitalized world, managers and organizations are faced with new challenges and unpredictable situations supported by digitally oriented practices. Employers and employees need to possess appropriate knowledge, experiences and various soft skills that are indispensable in the changing global world. Following sustainably oriented management activities and with the support of digital approaches to business processes in the broadest sense of the word, digital education and inclusion practices in today’s globalized world can lead to a sustainably oriented knowledge society.

Considering current and future challenges of the management and business activities, the aim of EECME 2023 is to provide a platform for researchers, higher education teachers, and authorities to present their research results in the following conference topics:

  • Sustainable Development Approaches in Management
  • Business Process Modelling
  • E-Business and E-Governance
  • Digital Approaches to Marketing
  • Globalisation as a Powerful Force for Growth and Development
  • Digital Education and Inclusion in Knowledge Management Society

The Conference languages are English and Slovenian.

There is no attendance/participation fee for the EECME conference.

On-line registration for the 5th EECME conference
All participants (active and those without papers) have to register for the conference until May 15, 2023.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit abstracts in conference topics no later than February 20, 2023. The abstract/article should not have more than four authors (co-authors).

Abstracts (100–150 words) should clearly state the paper's topic, purpose, and methodology. The details are given in the e-form for abstract submission:

Accepted abstracts should be developed into full papers/articles and submitted until April 10, 2023, at the latest. See SUBMISSION INSTRUCTION for further information concerning the submission of the full papers.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the instruction issues. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to the guidelines in instruction and article template.

ARTICLE TEMPLATE

Full papers/articles should be sent to: eecme@vspv.si no later than April 10, 2023.

Submitted articles will be peer-reviewed by reviewers within the same field of research. The evaluation and critique generated from peer-review will provide authors with feedback to improve their articles and allow the editors to assess the paper's suitability for publication in the Conference Proceedings.

The review results of articles will be announced to the submitting authors by email, along with reviewer comments no later than May 15, 2023 (Notification of acceptance).

Final articles with included review corrections must be submitted via eecme@vspv.si no later than June 15, 2023. Author(s) are required to provide proofreading of the final articles.


CONFERENCE MATERIALS

After the event, articles will be collected in conference proceedings. The publication of articles is free of charge.

IMPORTANT DATES and NOTES

  • Abstract submission: February 20, 2023.
  • Notification of acceptance and invitation to submit full papers: March 6, 2023.
  • Full paper/article submission: April 10, 2023.
  • Review results of articles: May 15, 2023.
  • All participants (active and those without papers) must register for the conference until May 15, 2023.
  • Online conference will be held: May 25, 2023.
  • Final article submission (with review corrections) – submission deadline: June 15, 2023.

Authors are kindly advised sending articles as soon as possible to eecme@vspv.si to allow reviewers a timely, effective and high-quality review process. The review cycle time tends to increase if submitting the paper right on the deadline due to many submissions around deadlines.
