THE 7th INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2026 (BIP)

TITLE: Innovation, AI, and Global Responsibility in Higher Education
Host and Venue: B2 Ljubljana School of Business, Ljubljana, Slovenia
In an era shaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and global interdependence, higher education must prepare students and staff for a rapidly evolving world. Universities are not only centers of knowledge but also engines of innovation, sustainability, inclusion, and democratic participation.
The International Staff Week 2026 at B2 Ljubljana School of Business will explore how higher education can embed AI, environmental responsibility, global inclusiveness, and civic engagement into teaching, management, and international collaboration. The event will bring together educators, administrative and management staff, and experts from over 15 countries worldwide to exchange experiences, co-create innovative practices, and strengthen global partnerships.
Through interactive workshops, case studies, panel discussions, and the integration of the EECME 2026 international conference, participants will address key topics such as responsible AI, leadership and ethics in international higher education, and future digital and green skills for students and staff.
Objectives:
- Exchange innovative practices in internationalisation, digitalisation, inclusion, and sustainability.
- Explore the role of AI and technology in higher education transformation.
- Promote diversity, equal opportunities, and active democratic participation.
- Integrate green and sustainable principles into teaching, management, and mobility.
- Strengthen Erasmus+ partnerships and foster multidisciplinary dialogue through EECME 2026.
Who Can Participate?
We warmly invite academics, including teaching and support staff from higher education institutions, to join this dynamic and collaborative event.
!!Prerequirement: B2 ENGLISH LEVEL at least. Please attach the print screen of OLS result with you application!!
Since Staff Week is in BIP form, participation will be checked every day and full participation is expected.
Web application is a prerequirement for documents' preparation. Applications to open by January 2026.
Application deadline: 6 April 2026 or until all vacancies are filled.

Additional Information
The event is free of charge, with no attendance or registration fees.
Accommodation and meals are not provided; participants are responsible for arranging their own. However, networking dinner on Tuesday and snacks during the International Staff Week are free of charge for participants.
