Practical information

Staff, teacher and student mobilities contribute to our internationalization. We are looking forward to hosting you at our school!

Erasmus+ students, staff and teachers recieve financial support for the mobility. In case of KA 171 projects, the financial support is provided by the B2 Ljubljana School of business.

 

DOCUMENTATION

Each mobility consists of mandatory documents, described below. The contact for documentation at B2 LSB is spela.pregl@b2.eu.

BEFORE THE MOBILITY

MOBILITY APPLICATION  student or staff/teach, sent to spela.pregl@b2.eu

DECISION/INVITATION/CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTANCE (if required by applicant, issued by B2 LSB)

MOBILITY AGREEMENT student, teaching or staff mobility agreement, all involving three parties (both institutions and the applicant) – for students and for long term teaching mobilites, a print screen of the English language test result must be enclosed (LINK TO ONLINE TEST) to the filled in and signed mobility agreement

GRANT AGREEMENT (FOR KA 171)

between two partner institutions and applicant in case of financial umbrella agreements,

between B2 LSB and applicant if the financial umbrella agreement is not signed,

between B2 LSB and student in case of student mobility;

AFTER MOBILITY

PROOF OF ATTENDANCE

for students it is the Transcript of records,

for teaching mobilites it is the CAD form,

for staff at the International Staff Week it is the Certificate of Attendance;

 

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STAFF (KA 171)

STAFF ERASMUS FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

Minumum 5 days at institution + 2 days for travel.

Minimum 5 means you land in Ljubljana on Monday morning at 7 a.m. and you catch a flight on Friday after 5 p.m.

INDIVIDUAL GRANT AGREEMENT: UP TO 170* per day + UP TO full travel costs. Participant can only be reimbursed the amount actually spent (up to the max amount). 

Costs that can be reimbursed (save and submit all invoices) are:

• Travel costs to Ljubljana and back (train ticket, plane ticket)

• Travel costs during mobility (taxi, local bus, parking tickets)

• Accommodation

• Visa, insurance

• Entrance fees to museums, sightseeing, etc.

+ EUR 40 of daily allowance.

All together up to the max reimbursement amount = days of mobility x EUR 170 + travel support

After mobility the REIMBURSMENT CALCULATION (in EUR) and RECEIPTS' copies, mark accordingly, must be sent to spela.pregl@b2.eu.

UMBRELLA AGREEMENT, SIGNED BETWEEN PARTNER INSTITUTIONS:

UP TO EUR 170* per day + full travel support. Proof of travel and accommodation must be sent to B2 LSB, regardless of the amount spent, the partner institution receives the full amount. *Long term staff mobilities provide lower daily support after 14th day (EUR 119 per day)

80% of support is transferred to partner institution just before the mobility. The last 20% are transferred after the proof of costs (receipts), Erasmus+ questionnaire and B2 LSB Erasmus report have been filled in (within 2 weeks after end of mobility).

 

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS (KA 171)

STUDENTS ERASMUS FINANCIAL SUPPORT: EUR 850 per month.

80% of support is transferred a month before the mobility. The last 20% are transferred after the Erasmus+ questionnaire and B2 LSB Erasmus report have been filled in (within 2 weeks after end of mobility).

Students are entitled to this scholarship on the basis of the Grant agreement and do not need to provide any invoices in order to receive the grant. Students need to sign an honorary statement and provide invoices for travel costs if applying for green travel.

ACCOMMODATION

We do not guarantee accommodation for participants of mobilities. However, we can provide suggestions and we strongly advise you start looking for accommodation (especially students, looking for a longer stay) well in advance - at least 2 months prior to mobility, if you are looking for a good deal.

Below, there are some more information for the incoming Erasmus guests. Keep in mind that Ljubljana is a small city, quite well organized regarding public transport (bus and city bikes). Our school is situated in the Vič neighbourhood, close to the city centre.

APPROXIMATE MONTHLY COSTS FOR STUDENTS

The cost of living in Slovenia should only be used as a guide (prices are per month).

ACCOMODATION 200 € - 600 € (student housing, private accomodation)
FOOD 350 € (grocery + subsidized meals)
CITY TRANSPORTATION 30 €/month (Urbana bus card);
TOTAL App. 580-980 €/month

 

STUDENT DISCOUNTS

All students with student status are entitled to subsidised meals (INFO HERE) in most restaurants around Ljubljana and a subsidized bus ticket. In order to be able to use these benefits, you need to have a student card or your enrolment certificate, your ID/passport and your mobile phone (with Slovenian sim card). 
Students in Slovenia get a lot of discounts for their activities. This also applies to exchange studets.

 

WORKING AS AN EXCHANGE STUDENT

Erasmus students are allowed to work during their student exchange through an agency called Student service. More information HERE.
